It was a fun afternoon on Wednesday 14th October as students and teachers of The Shri Ram School Aravali, Gurgaon joined their counterparts from Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola, Stockholm to create awareness about World Mental Health Day and reinforce positive psychology.
In the first session conducted on 7th October, the students of Drottning Blankas had put up a wonderful exhibition in their school. TSRS-Aravali team of students and teachers loved their display of posters, collaborative activities, preparation of the sleep chart, bracelet making and the way they replied to our queries. The whole atmosphere was electrifying.
We the students of The Shri Ram School have been working towards breaking the stigma around mental health and thus made posters and videos, to share our thoughts with our peers in Stockholm. Our session started on a collaborative note using an exciting platform like Kahoot, testing everyone’s knowledge of the importance of Mental Health Day.
This virtual exchange with the Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and talk about the universal issues of mental health and well being. It was a great fun-filled learning session. We definitely look forward to having more such interactions in future.
