The Shri Ram School Aravali recently had the honour of hosting Mr. Manish Vij, a leading early stage investor, the founder of Smile VB and a climate advocate, as a guest speaker. A fortuitous breakthrough as a result of which he could be a member of the Antarctica expedition, led to the discovery of his passion for saving the environment. His mission to create awareness among the masses about climate change truly struck a chord with the school students and motivated them to become ambassadors of change. He has set out to achieve monumental goals, a part of which he hopes to accomplish with his unremitting efforts, and the rest to be passed on as a consciousness to generation next. A major takeaway for all of us is to learn to build a mission that goes beyond one’s own life.
