On Monday, 20th April, TSRS Aravali conducted its first online *Origami* session with middle school students. Yashraj Sharma(12-H2) took the students on a journey of turning simple paper into beautiful models lucidly covering the intricacies of origami.
Starting with making origami paper out of normal paper, Yashraj proceeded to teach the students how to make relatively complex models starting from the very simple. The first item was hearts – through a 7-step guided explanation. He demonstrated and painstakingly explained each step. Spot-on variations of different types of birds, animals and other objects followed. The students also learnt how to make the classic Origami Crane, using the Petal Fold combination.
Overall, the students got a feel of the excitement of turning a simple piece of paper into appealing designs.
