Inspired by the Round Square Ideal of Service the six heads of the RS Committee at TSRS Aravali, visualised hosting a service project and inviting RS member schools from the South Asian and Gulf Region.
The theme envisaged and adopted was- ‘Touching other’s lives and transforming your own’. We then connected with Dr. V. Mohini Giri the chairperson of Guild for Service. The Guild for Service is a national voluntary developmental organization dedicated towards the empowerment of marginalised women and children. The Participating schools were 8, including TSRS Aravali

The number of student and teacher delegates were- 50 plus.
Students were meaningfully engaged in construction and repair work, teaching soft skills to the 65‘matas’ and building a bond with them; to interacting with the 80 students of the underprivileged section. In a span of over 12 hours, the students completed the daunting task of building a new room for residential purpose, repaired and painted the multi-faith temple walls, painted the gate, tilled the soil and sowed the potato crop and skillfully worked on making clay diyas and pots on a potter’s wheel.
