The Shri Ram School

Performing Arts

The Performing Arts program at The Shri Ram School Aravali encompasses both Indian and Western music and dance, catering to the diverse interests of our students. This comprehensive approach provides a wide range of choices and opportunities for different forms of expressive art and widens the spectrum from a global perspective. Not only does it help nurture and hone a student’s inherent skills but also augments holistic development and self-growth, amplifying their overall potential.
We recommend that the choices offered in classes VI, VII, VIII should be sustained for three consecutive years for better internalization. Additionally, in forms IX & X students have the opportunity to pursue Indian music and dance. Our Form Mornings, available for classes VI, VII, VIII, IX & XI provide an elegant and effective platform for theatre, music and dance, fostering creative learning, strengthening bonds and steadily building confidence. Furthermore, our association with SPIC MACAY, held twice a year, promotes Indian classical music and specific art forms that enriches the cultural experiences of our students.
Education extends beyond mere text-based learning. It embodies the holistic growth of a child, nurturing both the mind and the body to effectively apply acquired knowledge. Performing Arts is a bridge between these two dimensions, seamlessly merging intellectual development with physical execution. By transcending inhibitions, it empowers children to embrace complete artistic expression, fostering profound sense of joy and wellbeing.
