Community Service

Middle school students visit schools for the visually challenged and old age homes to spend time there, lend a helping hand and come back with valuable lessons of their own.

SUPW is a part of the ICSE and ISC curriculum and grades are awarded for this.  Children of classes 9 and 11 spend time with underprivileged children and teach them academic subjects or arts and crafts.

Aravali students work with the children of the SP Nangli School, adopted by SRF.

Shram Daan on Labour Day aims at inculcating the dignity of labour.  On that day, children take on the onus of cleaning the school to help the support staff and collect and distribute items of daily need for them

Children, staff and parents work together to raise funds for environment or social issues.  There are the Joy of Giving endeavour, bake sales and collection drives, for instance, for woollens, mattresses, durries and blankets or books and stationery in usable condition for the homeless and the less privileged.  Shri Sangeet in the past succeeded in collecting funds for Leh Relief.  Shri Srijan aimed at creating awareness about the skills and the circumstances of artists and art forms of India and collecting funds for them.
